Scientific-Creative Conference - "Conflict of Underaged with the Law"

On March 13, 2009 Scientific-Creative Conference - "Conflict of Underaged with the Law" was held at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law of the Tbilisi State University. The scientific-leader of the conference was an Associated Professor of the Faculty of Law and Tbilisi Appeal Court Judge Maia Ivanidze. There were presented reports on defiant reasons of underaged crime, preventing it and importance of criminal underaged resocialization-rehabilitation. The conference was attended by the students from different Universities, acting judges, lawyers, psychologists, criminal law specialists, representatives of Ministry of Corrections and non-governmental organizations. The short film about under age criminals, made by students was screened. Engaging discussion was held after the conference.
