Strategic Communication Module

The Strategic Communications Module, conducted by Dr. Vivian Walker, Executive Director of the U.S Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy, ended on November 25, 2019, at Rondeli Foundation.

During a week the participants of the National Security and Public Policy Program had the opportunity to learn about topics such as strategic communication planning, strategies for persuading the audience, developing a campaign to combat disinformation, and strategic branding of the nation. At the end of the course, the participants presented their final projects. Catherine Schweitzer, Public Relations Officer of the US Embassy in Tbilisi attended the presentation.    

Dr. Walker has a 26-year career with the State Department, she also served as Professor of National Security Strategy at the National War College in Washington, DC , a professor of strategic and security studies at the National Defense College of the United Arab Emirates.

The module is a part of the flagship training program implemented by Rondeli Foundation, supported by the U.S. Government, on National Security and Public Policy. The program is designed to prepare the policy analysts for the national security community for careers as government policymakers in defense/security agencies, diplomats and non- governmental policy analysts.
