Series of Lectures from the Professor of Stanford University

On November 22, 2004 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies launched the series of lectures from David Holloway, a professor of political science and a member of Stanford’s Institute for International Studies. Prof. Holloway delivered the lectures to the Junior Fellows of the Foundation. David Holloway is an expert on nuclear proliferation and the former Soviet Union. His lectures covered the competing spheres of influence between the United States, the European Union and Russia.  Prof. Holloway discussed their strategic approaches to economy and politics in the last decade and what he expected to be the balance of power between them in the coming years. He also discussed Georgia’s role as a country that lies in the overlapping spheres of influence of all three aforementioned powers.
