Public Lecture "The Impact of the Upcoming Election Cycle on Current Russian Politics"

On  June 13, 2011 Professor Emeritus of Political Science and International Affairs Peter Reddaway (George Washington University) presented on "The Impact of the Upcoming Election Cycle on Current Russian Politics." Professor Reddaway analyzed recent trends in Russian political elite, and presented his vision of future developments in Russian politics. In his lecture, he focused on Premier Vladimir Putin's role in the political establishment in Russia, and elaborated on his vision of Putin's options in continuing his political career.After the presentation, Professor Reddaway responded to various questions posed by the audience.
