Policy Trainings For Young Political Party Activists Introductory Session
On September 19, 2015 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) organized an introductory session for the Policy Trainings for Young Political Activists progam participants at Chateau Mukhrani.
The icebreaking event aimed at deepening the knowledge of topics related to important nationwide issues and creating an opportunity for the project participants to reinvigorate professional networking. 26 representatives of 16 different parties, including the ruling coalition, the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition participated in the networking gathering.
The key topic on the agenda was Georgia’s NATO aspirations presented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Mr. David Dondua and the Russian-Georgian Agenda, presented by the special representative of the Prime Minister of Georgia in Russian issues. Despite the tight schedule and ardent discussions about the topic, the rest of the time was devoted to informal networking, sharing ideas and socializing.
