The One-Year Training Program on International Relations and National Security Has Launched

On May 7, 2004 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies welcomed a new cohort of the students for the one-year training program on International Relations and National Security. The training program is administered by the Foundation and implemented in cooperation with the RAND Corporation. Participant students represent Georgia’s various governmental and non-governmental agencies. The first module of the program is economics instructed by Mr. Brian Rosen, Doctoral Fellow at the RAND Graduate School. The program is conducted in English and the classes are taught during the evening hours to accommodate to the students’ working schedule. The program includes intensive courses in the following fields:

  • Economics, Analysis of Political Economy 
  • Economics of Transitional Period 
  • Foreign Policy Analysis and International Relations 
  • Small States in International Relations 
  • Global Transformation and Development 
  • Grand Strategy 
  • International Security and Defense Analysis
  • Quantitative Approaches to Policy Analysis
