A Retreat for Young Political Party Activists

On June 30, 2018 Rondeli Foundation organized a retreat for the participants of the Policy Trainings for Young Political Activists to Chateau Mukhrani.

The event aimed at deepening the knowledge of topics related to important nationwide issues and creating an opportunity for the project participants to reinvigorate professional networking. 29 representatives of 17 different parties, including the ruling coalition, the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition participated in the networking gathering.

The key topics on the agenda were - Georgia-NATO relations presented by David Dondua, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the problem of information warfare and anti-Western propaganda, presented by Amb. Giorgi Badridze, the GFSIS Senior Fellow.

The project intends to address the lack of healthy policy debate and the polarized political environment through carrying out a six-month long training program for young political party staffers and is implemented with the support of National Endowment for Democracy (NED).
