Graduation Ceremony and Welcoming Reception for the Training Program “International Relations and National Security”

On September 6, 2004 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies organized a graduation ceremony and the welcoming reception for the new cohort of the fellows of the training program “International Relations and National Security”. U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, H.E. Richard M. Miles and Mrs. Miles were the honorable hosts of the ceremony. The training program is implemented by the Foundation with the support of U.S. government.

In its third year, nineteen fellows have graduated the program. Ambassador Miles congratulated the fellows with a successful completion of the program. Dr. Stephen Larrabee, Corporate Chair in European Security at the RAND Corporation, noted the role of GFSIS in strengthening capacity of Georgian public servants. On behalf of the Foundation Dr. Alexander Rondeli presented the fellows with the certificates. Program alumni also attended the event.
