Training Program ”Capacity Building in Strategic Decision-Making: Lessons from the Development Experience in the Asia-Pacific Region”

On October 28, 2004 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies together with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation concluded a two-week training program for journalists, businessmen, government officials, and NGO members throughout the South Caucasus. The goal of the program was to familiarize participants with the development strategies of Asian countries, such as Japan and South Korea, and to discuss possible development strategies for the countries of the South Caucasus region. The training included 16 participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
