Fifteen Ambassadors from Different Countries Visit the Foundation

On September 16, 2008 Ambassadors from thirteen European countries, USA and Canada met with the representatives of 35 Georgian NGO’s at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies. The meeting participants discussed Georgia's territorial integrity, independence and sovereignty within its internationally recognized borders and other crucial issues for Georgia.

Four paragraphs of NATO-GEORGIA commission were also in the focus of discussion: to intensify political dialogue and cooperation with Georgia, control the implementation of obligations taken at Bucharest summit of the Alliance, coordinate assistance to Georgia after the August conflict with Russia and facilitate development of political and economic reforms, which are underway within the Euro-Atlantic integration.
