Public Lecture - "Is strategy possible? – Iran, the Arab spring and American Foreign Policy"

On March 6, 2012 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies hosed a publi lecture - "Is strategy possible? – Iran, the Arab Spring and American Foreign Policy". The lecture was delivered by Professor Ross Harrison (Georgetown University, USA).  Professor Harrison presented his view on 3D Strategy and the possibilities to use it in the process of formulating the U.S. foreign policy.  In addition, Professor Harrison discussed the existing risks for America and its allies in Middle East.  He also spoke about possible scenarios for the future of the region, implications of the Arab spring and deterrence against Iran’s nuclear program.  The audience included the Foundation’s different program participants and alumni, also invited experts and representatives of diplomatic corps.
