Public Discussion "Current Geopolitical Dynamics in the Middle East"

On 29th of January, 2019 Rondeli Foundation hosted a public discussion on the current geopolitical dynamics in the Middle East.
The speakers of the discussion included Zurab Batiashvili, Research Fellow of the Foundation and Amb. Levan Asatiani, former Ambassador of Georgia in the Islamic Republic of Iran (2004-2009). The discussion was moderated by Irakli Menagarishvili, Chairman of the Center for Strategic Studies.
The presenters discussed the ongoing tension in the Middle East, the military and political processes of Syria, the withdrawal of US troops, as well as the security challenges of the neighboring countries including Georgia.
