Meeting with Muslim Clerics

Representatives of the Prime Minister's administration, the Public Defender's Office, State Agency for Religious Issues and various committees of the Parliament of Georgia discussed local challenges with Muslim clerics from mountainous Adjara and Guria.

The meeting was held within the framework of the project Supporting Participatory and Inclusive Governance in Mountainous Guria and Adjara implemented by Rondeli Foundation with the support of the UK Embassy in Tbilisi since November 2018. This project aims to support the civil integration and regional development in mountainous Adjara and Guria as well as to increase the participation of local population in the decision-making process.
