This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Donbas Area – North

Fighting on the frontline south of Izyum continued without new major territorial changes.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

On the Hryhorivka-Verkhnokamyanske-Ivano-Dar’ivka line in the northernmost part of the frontline in this area, Russians paused after their attempts to advance had been repelled.

Russians unsuccessfully attempted to advance from the western outskirts of Berestove as well as towards Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, and in Vershyna.

In the south of this area, Russians likely took Semyhirja, and unsuccessfully attacked Kodema.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

Very heavy combat with serious casualties for both sides took place in Pisky where Russians entered the town and engaged in street battles with Ukrainians before being pushed out of it by Ukrainian counterattacks.

Russian attacks on Avdiivka and in Mar’inka were repelled by Ukrainians.

Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area

Unsuccessful Russian attacks occurred towards village Novopil.

 

Black Sea Area

Significant Russian reinforcements were being sent to the Kherson area, either to prepare a Russian offensive or to prevent a Ukrainian one.

Unsuccessful Russian attack occurred in the north of the frontline in this area, towards Trudoliubivka.

 

Kharkiv Area

Russians unsuccessfully attempted to attack towards Dementiivka, and from Ternova towards Bairak.
