This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Russians sought to stem Ukrainian advance on Svatove and Kreminna. As a result, intense battles ensued in this area with the two sides attacking and counterattacking one another at various parts of the frontline.

In the north, Ukrainians reached village Vilshana where Russians were still holding out as of the time of writing.

Northwest of Svatove, Ukrainians achieved considerable advance liberating several villages, approaching village Kuzemivka, and reaching the area about 13-14 kilometers west of Nyzhnia Duvanka (a town located north of Svatove).

11 kilometers southwest of Svatove, Ukrainians reached and possibly liberated village Kovalivka.

West and northwest of Kreminna, Russians continued counterattacks with the resulting fighting taking place in the area between Kreminna and the line of Torske-Nevske.

Donbas Area – Northeast

Heavy fighting continued along the frontline in this area, particularly on the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut city and around the villages south of it.

Southeast of Bakhmut, Russians reached Ivanhrad with fighting for this village continuing as of the time of writing.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russians achieved another limited advance in the southeastern part of village Pervomaiske (northwest of Pisky).

 

No major territorial changes occurred in Black Sea Area, Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area despite continued fighting.
