This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Intense fighting with the two sides attacking and counterattacking one another occurred at many spots of the frontline in this area including near Orlyanske, Yahidne, Kuzemivka, Chervonopopivka, between Tabaivka and Volodymyrivka, east of Nevske, and west of Kreminna.

Russians retook village Novovodyane and entered the eastern part of Makiivka.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

Intense fighting continued in the northern part of the frontline in this area with Russians entering village Bilohorivka from the northeast.

Heavy battles went on near the eastern outskirts of Bakhmut as well as south and northeast of this city. South of village Opytne the two sides attacked and counterattacked one another with Russians advancing to the southern boundary of this village and Ukrainians then pushing them back.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

Battles without decisive results continued on the Vodyane-Opytne line (different villages named Opytne exist both south of Bakhmut and northwest of Donetsk), in Pervomaiske, in Mar’inka, and near Novomykhailivka.

 

Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area

Heavy fighting around the southern outskirts of village Pavlivka continued with Russian attacks failing to produce advance.

 

No major territorial changes occurred in Black Sea Area despite continued fighting.
