Joint Staff Advanced Training Course

The training program  aimed at strengthening the program participants’ theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of defense analysis. The three-month training program covered the following issues: Contemporary Problems of International Relations, Modern Geopolitical Problems of Black and Caspian Sea Regions, Challenges for Georgian Foreign Policy and Regional Security, Intelligence and Policy Analysis. Additionally, the trainees were exposed to practical exercises, such as discussing the current hot topics and prepared detailed presentations on a varied number of ongoing issues.
During the training, the program participants were also required to produce a paper on one of the following topics covered during the training. The training program for military and civil servants from the Joint Staff was organized at GFSIS with support from the Ministry of Defense of Georgia
