"Our common goal should be not to depend on Russian resources. The same can be said about China. Chinese Ambassador and Investigative Committee Chairman of Armenia discuss cooperation

The two sides exchanged views on China-Armenia relations and law enforcement cooperation between the two countries. The Chinese Embassy report said that the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia was willing to strengthen cooperation with Chinese colleagues in cracking down on transnational crime and bringing under control cross-border gambling to jointly maintain regional stability. The Chinese Embassy in Armenia said it was willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with Armenia’s Investigative Committee, and assist the relevant departments of the two countries to develop cooperation and promote further development of bilateral relations.
China's MFA discusses Georgia's Rose Revolution On May 7, China's MFA published a report entitled "Fact Sheet on the National Endowment for Democracy" where it discussed Georgia's democratic Rose Revolution. It claimed that "NED was seen behind color revolutions instigated and orchestrated by the United States, including the disintegration of the Soviet Union, the Rose Revolution in Georgia, the Orange Revolution in Ukraine, and the Arab Spring... In 2003, the Rose Revolution broke out in Georgia, and then President Eduard Shevardnadze was forced to step down. In this color revolution, NED planned and participated in the entire process from 'selecting' opposition leaders, training the opposition and providing huge funds. After the revolution succeeded, NED continued to offer 'generous funds'. In 2004 alone, NED provided nearly 540,000 US dollars to 12 NGOs in Georgia".

Together with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia Viktor Richter, Ambassador of China Fan Yong also participated in the event. According to the University report, Fan Yong "concisely" presented the "New Silk Way", highlighted its significance and importance, and addressed investments of the Chinese government in the region’s infrastructure development. "China and Armenia are ancient countries and are ready to overcome all the difficulties. I appreciate your efforts to deepen the bilateral relationships, especially in the sphere of science. Our primary goal is to establish mutually beneficial relations with Armenia and make it the development project," the Ambassador said. While presenting the goals, peculiarities, and "the significance" of the BRI, Sos Khachikyan said that Armenia's participation in "the Chinese economic project" was essential for Armenia. "We, together with our German partners, tried to make this project as public as possible, attaching special importance to the connection of Armenia with Iran, India and China. We have huge interests in this project within the framework of the cooperation of Armenia with the European Union and Eurasian Economic Union," Sos Khachikyan said.
Stalin-labeled wine bottles appeared on Chinese media report about Belt and Road Georgian Business House

Partnership agreement signed between Kutaisi and Xi'an

Mayor of Kutaisi Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, Georgian Ambassador to China Archil Kalandia, and Mayor of Xi'an Li Mingyuan took part in the online signing ceremony. They agreed to increase cooperation in culture, education, healthcare and economy fields in order to strengthen friendship and partnership between the two cities. "[The signing] will allow us to cooperate more broadly in the future. Our relationship with the city of Xi'an is important because like Kutaisi, Xi'an is an old city in China, where the antiquities of Chinese culture and history are gathered," Khakhaleishvili said.
