Only limited changes in territorial control occurred during the reported period. Heavy fighting continued all over the Donbas front as well as in a number of other areas.
Donbas Area Russians continued their attacks in many parts of the Donbas frontline as well as in several spots south of Izyum, without reported major advance. Street fighting continued in Rubizhne and Popasna. Russians achieved a limited advance in the area 25 kilometers northeast of Izyum, taking the town of Borova. Siege of Mariupol Russians apparently managed to finalize their control over most of northern Mariupol. Ukrainians concentrated their efforts on defending the southern, southwestern and eastern areas of the city.
Kharkiv Area Ukrainians achieved a limited advance liberating the town of Zolochiv about 30 kilometers northwest of Kharkiv. Ukrainian attacks were reported in other spots north of Kharkiv as well, with results unclear at the time of writing. Kharkiv area
Black Sea Area Ukrainian advance with liberation of several villages was reported in Kherson Oblast. Exact location of the liberated territory was unclear at the time of writing.
No major changes in territorial control were reported in the Zaporizhzhia area. |
