This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Donbas Area

Russians achieved some territorial progress in northern Donbas and around Izyum during the reported period.

In the area northeast from Slovyansk, they established full control over Zarichne after heavy fighting, and advanced south from it, attacking towards the town of Yampil.

West of Izyum, Russians took Zavody and entered Velyka Komyshuvakha. To the south, they likely took villages of Dibrovne and Kurulka. East of Izyum, on the eastern bank of the Oskil River, Russians took Yatskivka.

In southern Donbas, Russians achieved a small advance to the west of Velyka Novosilka.

Russian offensive in northern Donbas and south from Izyum

 

Siege of Mariupol

Fighting continued around the Ukrainian citadel in the Azovstal plant, without major changes.

 

Zaporizhzhia Area

Heavy fighting continued with Russians attacking near the town of Hulyaipole. No major territorial changes were reported.

 

Black Sea Area

Ukrainians advanced in the central part of the Kherson front liberating a number of villages and coming within 11 kilometers from the city of Kherson.

Russians retook Oleksandrivka on the Black Sea coast after prolonged and heavy fighting.

 

No major changes occurred in the Kharkiv area.
