Donbas Area Russians continued to attack towards Severodonetsk but were repelled at villages Borivske and Syrotyne. To the south, Russians entered Toshkivka with fighting going on within this town. Russians conducted attacks north, west and south of Popasna, engaging in fighting with Ukrainians near villages Komyshuvakha, Pylypchatyne and Novozvanivka respectively. Russians achieved limited advance northwest and northeast of Slovyansk. Russians also managed a limited advance on the portion of the frontline between Donetsk and Horlivka, to the north of Avdiivka. Siege of Mariupol An apparent effort for conditional surrender of the Ukrainian citadel at the Azovstal plant was on with continued negotiations between the two sides.
Kharkiv Area Ukrainian forces reached the national border with Russia in the area of Ternova. Intense fighting continued north of Kharkiv with Russians trying to maintain a foothold on the Ukrainian territory in this area.
No major changes occurred in the Black Sea and Zaporizhzhia areas. |
