This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Donbas Area - Northeast

Intense fighting continued along the whole frontline in this area.

After Russians captured about 70-80 percent of Severodonetsk, Ukrainians launched counterattacks within the city. Heavy street fighting was reported as of the time of writing.

Russian forces achieved a limited advance in the area of the Popasna breakthrough, likely having taken the village of Nyrkove.

Donbas Area - North

Russians continued to advance north of Svyatohirsk, likely taking the village of Sosnove.

Russian attempts to advance on Bohorodychne from the northwest were repelled by Ukrainians, and so were new Russian attacks near Dovhenke.

Kharkiv Area

Ukrainian forces liberated villages Vesele and Male Vesele, northeast of Kharkiv.

Russian forces once again retook Ternova.

Black Sea Area

Intense fighting continued along various parts of the frontline in this area.

Ukrainians repelled Russian counterattacks on the recently liberated Mykolaivka.

 

No major territorial changes occurred in Donbas Area – Southeast, Donbas Area – South and Zaporizhzhia Area.
