This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Donbas Area - Northeast

Heavy street fighting continued in Severodonetsk with the two sides exchanging attacks and counterattacks while control over territory was fluid. Russians appeared to control over half of the city as of the time of writing.

Southeast of Severodonetsk, Ukrainians counterattacked in Voronove, retaking the village or most of it.

In the Popasna breakthrough area, Russians took village Komyshuvakha after days of intense fighting.

Russians were not able to advance in other sections of the frontline in this area, or come closer to encircling Ukrainian forces defending Severodonetsk-Lysychansk, despite sustained efforts to do so. The threat of encirclement nevertheless remained.
