This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Donbas Area - Northeast

Heavy fighting continued within the city of Severodonetsk with the Russian forces once again gaining the city center. Fighting also took place in the Severodonetsk International Airport with the status of control over it unclear at the time of writing.

Ukrainian-controlled Toshkivka remained another site of heavy fighting. Russian attempts to attack from Orikhiv towards Zolote and Hirske were repelled by Ukrainians.

Ukrainians also repelled Russian attacks on Vrubivka from the south, and pushed Russians a little away from the village with very heavy combat reported between Vrubivka and Nyrkove. Russians remained unable to achieve a new advance towards the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway.

At the southern end of this area, Russians had taken Dolomitne, and then attacked from there towards Novoluhanske and Kodema but were repelled.

Donbas Area - North

Having taken village Dovhenke after many weeks of fighting, Russians attacked from there towards village Mazanivka which remained under Ukrainian control as of the time of writing. Russians also continued attacks in the direction of village Dolina, and possibly took Bohorodychne although contradicting reports were arriving from the latter town during the reported period.

With Russians preparing a strong group of forces for a new push from the Izyum area towards Slovyansk, Ukrainians launched flanking attacks there, possibly in an effort to mess up Russian plans for this offensive. Their attack directly west of Izyum resulted in liberation of Zavody and Spivakivka. Other information indicated Ukrainian control over villages Nova Husarivka and Mospanove in the area between Kharkiv and Izyum.
