This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.
Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North Ukrainians continued to advance east of Kupyansk, reaching the area of villages Orlyanske-Ivanivka-Kysilivka and engaging Russians in fighting there. Ukrainians also advanced north and east of the recently liberated town of Borova near the Oskil River, liberating several villages. Overall, Russian defense at the eastern bank of the Oskil River ceased to be tenable. Another area of new Ukrainian advance was northwest from Kreminna, likely including the liberation of Makiivka (north of Nevske). Continued Ukrainian advance in all three of these directions contributed to the worsening situation of the Russian forces seeking to defend the occupied area around Svatove.
Black Sea Area Russian defense crumbled in the northeastern part of the frontline in this area. Ukrainians liberated Dudchany on the Dnipro River bank, and continued to advance in the direction of Mylove. This created a threat of encirclement for the Russian forces holding the frontline northwest of Dudchany, causing these Russian forces to retreat precipitously. Ukrainians followed them closely, quickly liberating villages in this area. Ukrainians also liberated Davydiv Brid on the Inhulets River bank. Overall, Ukrainians liberated the whole square between Davydiv Brid-Arkhanhelske-Zolota Balka-Kachkarivka including numerous villages. Static shot from the Russo-Ukrainian War interactive map.
