This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Belgorod Area

After fighting in area of the town of Grayvoron and villages KozinkaGlotovo and Gora-Podol in Belgorod Oblast of the Russian Federation on 22-23 May, anti-Kremlin regime Russian military forces withdrew back to the Ukrainian territory.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

In the north, fighting without major territorial changes was taking place in the area of villages Masyutivka and Lyman Pershyi.

Inconclusive fighting continued in the area of Kreminna.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

In the areas north and south of Bakhmut fighting was intense with the two sides attacking and counterattacking each other.

Near the western outskirts of Bakhmut the fighting reduced significantly during the reported period.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

North of Avdiivka, Russians were attacking from Krasnohorivka toward Novokalynove without achieving major advance.

In Pervomaiske, fighting was rather intense, but did not result in major territorial changes.

 

Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South

Russians attempted to attack without success near village Velyka Novosilka.
