Rondeli Russian Military Digest

This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

 

Kursk Area

Russians counterattacked in the western part of the Kursk area of fighting, retaking villages Snagost, Krasnooktyabrskoe and Gordeevka, and at least reaching villages Vishnevka, Vnezapnoe and Viktorovka. Fighting was also taking place around Apanasovka and 10-Y Oktyabr.

Ukrainians attacked further west, crossing the border. They took village Novyi Put’ and reached the southern outskirts of Veseloe. At another point of breakthrough nearby they entered village Medvezh’e.

Fighting without major changes continued in other parts of the Kursk frontline.

 

Belgorod Area

No major changes were noted in the area.

 

Kharkiv Area

Fighting in the area continued without major changes.

 

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Russians advanced a little further in the area around Pishchane.

 

Donbas Area – Northeast

Russians pushed Ukrainians back a little north of Bilohorivka.

 

Toretsk-Kostyantynivka Area

Russians advanced a little in the eastern part of Toretsk.

 

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russians advanced further within Hrodivka, achieving control of over half of the village.

Ukrainians counterattacked in the area of Mykolaivka, Krasnyi Yar and Krutyi Yar, pushing Russians back between Novohrodivka and Zhuravka.

West of Novohrodivka, Russians reached the eastern outskirts of Lysivka. South of it, they took village Marynivka or most of it.

Fighting continued on the eastern outskirts of Selidove, with Russians failing to push deeper into the town.

Fighting continued within Ukrainsk. Russians advanced between this town and Selidove.

Russians made further advance west of Krasnohorivka, reaching Hostre where heavy fighting was taking place.

Fighting continued in the area of Vodyane.

Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South

Fighting continued in the area of Prechystivka and Vuhledar.

 

Black Sea-Dnipro River Area

Fighting in the area continued without major changes.
