Donbas Area - Northeast Heavy battles continued within Severodonetsk with none of the two sides making new major progress during the reported period. Southeast of Severodonetsk, Russians took villages Metolkine and Voronove. To the south, Russians achieved a limited advance east from the recently taken Komyshuvakha increasing the danger of encirclement for the Ukrainian forces defending the area of Zolote and Katerynivka. Southeast of Bakhmut, Russian forces entered the village of Roty. Continued Russian efforts to cut the Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway as well as to advance on Lysychansk from the southeast were unsuccessful. Donbas Area - North Russians took the town of Sviatohirsk thus completing the capture of the northern bank of the Siverskyi Donets River to the north of Slovyansk. Russian forces also advanced in the area west of the town of Bohorodychne reaching village Dolyna and commencing fighting near its northern outskirts.
Black Sea Area Fighting continued at various spots of the Kherson frontline. Ukrainians achieved a new limited advance in its northeastern section, in the area of village Lyubymivka.
No major territorial changes occurred in Donbas Area – Southeast, Donbas Area – South, Zaporizhzhia Area and Kharkiv Area. |
