This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Fighting west and south of Kreminna remained inconclusive.

Donbas Area – Northeast

Street fighting within Bakhmut city remained extremely intense. Russians made minor gains during the reported period, launching new major attacks in the morning of 8 May.

Russians also attacked north and south of Bakhmut, including towards Minkivka, Khromove and Ivanivske, without achieving major advance.

Donbas Area – Southeast

Russian attacks towards Avdiivka were unsuccessful. In the center of Mar’inka, Russians made new gains.

Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South

Ukrainians launched minor probing attacks south of Vuhledar and Orikhiv, without major changes in territorial control.
