Seminar – “Foreign Policy at the Bank of Dniester

On July 13-18, 2009 the six day seminar "Foreign Policy at the Bank of Dniester", h took place, near Chisinau in Moldova. It aimed to establish closer relations among the young intellectuals from the post-soviet countries and conflict regions. There was a wide range of participants from Moldova, Transnistria, Georgia, Abkhazia and Lithuania, who tried to share their experience and knowledge during discussions and presentations. The seminars have been conducted by local and foreign professors and experts. The whole project has been funded and organized by the British Council of Moldova and by the "Foreign Policy Association", an NGO in Moldova. Representative of the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, Magda Nebieridze took part in the event.
