Training Session - “Capacity Building in Strategic Decision-Making: Lessons From the Asia-Pacific Development Experience”

On  November 2, 2007 at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies took place the fifth and final training session "Capacity Building in Strategic Decision-Marking: Lessons from the Asia-Pacific Development Experience." Program participants were rewarded with the certificates of achievement.

The Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, in co-operation with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, has been conducting the training sessions since 2003.

Following the ceremony, the participants left for Gudauri for a week-end retreat. Organised around a day-long conference, entitled "The Caucasus:  A Bridge between East and West" and presided over by Dr Rondeli and Professor Ioseb Chakhvashvili, a lecturer at Tbilisi State University and Member of the Foundation's Council on Foreign Relations, the retreat was also attended by the program's alumni from the last four years.
