Two Trainings Organized by The Graduate Institute Geneva

On February 26-28, 2013 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS) hosted two trainings organized by The Graduate Institute Geneva in the In the scope of the project Capacity Building in International Relations. 

During the trainings - “Water Resources: Policy and Management” and “Interactions between National and International Dimensions of Education and Training Policies” 

GFSIS hosted total up to 30 participants, young professionals from various governmental agencies of Georgia. 

The training on “Water Resources: Policy and Management” was conducted by Prof. Nidal Salim, GIWEH Director, and also had opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion Issues around Green Economy: Incentive for Regional Cooperation, together with the representatives of Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources, UNDP and SDC  Regional Office. The training on Education was lead by Prof. Michel Carton, Graduate Institute (Geneva), the participants had opportunity to participate in the roundtable Technical and Vocational Skill Development Policy in Georgia: A Multi Stakeholders Perspective, together with the representatives of Ministry of Education and Science, SDC and EU funded projects.
