• Israeli military aircraft bombed pro-Iranian forces on the Syrian-Iraqi border. The blast killed 8 militants; 
• The US accuses Iran of shooting down Ukrainian civilian aircraft. Canada and the Great Britain took a similar position;
• Iran denies involvement in the downing of Ukrainian aircraft. Simultaneously Tehran agrees with the Ukrainian side to participate in the investigation;
• Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahd called on the American side to send a delegation to Iraq to develop mechanisms for the withdrawal of US troops from his country;
• Anti-government protests continue in southern cities of Iraq. Police arrested several demonstrators;
• French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian states that Iran will have a nuclear weapon in 1-2 years;
• Libyan rebels continue to attack government forces. The rebels occupied some areas of the capital Tripoli in the southern part of the city. They also captured part of the Turkish military equipment supplied to government forces.
