This is a special issue of the Rondeli Russian Military Digest dedicated to the Russo-Ukrainian War, composed on the basis of numerous open sources.

Belgorod Area

Anti-Kremlin regime Russian military forces attacked south of Shebekino, taking over part of town Novaya Tavolzhanka. Fighting continued within the town as of the time of writing.

Svatove-Starobilsk Area and Donbas Area – North

Fighting with unclear results at the time of writing occurred in the areas around Dvorichna and Kuzemivka.

Donbas Area – Northeast

Fighting continued on the flanks of Bakhmut, with Ukrainians likely advancing a little southwest and northwest of the city.

Donbas Area – Southeast

Ukrainians launched counterattacks toward Vodyane southwest of Avdiivka.

Ukrainians also counterattacked south of Mar’inka while Russians continued to attack within this town.

Zaporizhzhia Area and Donbas Area – South

Ukrainians launched attacks at various spots of the frontline in these areas on 4 June.

They attacked south of Vuhledar, as well as east of this town, likely advancing a little toward Volodymyrivka.

To the west, Ukrainians attacked in a number of places on the front between Levadne and Novodonetske, achieving some advance and possibly taking villages Neskuchne and Novodarivka.

Further west, Ukrainians launched attacks southeast of Mala Tokmachka.
