Strengthening Minority Voices

The project intends to support engagement of national minority youth in the nation-wide policy-making process, through educational activities and internship within the governmental agencies and NGOs, at the same time empowering community radios with the elevated content.

Within the project scope young representatives of ethnic minority communities from various regions of Georgia will attend the series of practical seminars and discussions on civic engagement and participation in the public policy process, along with the foreign and domestic policy issues. By the end of the program, 10 beneficiaries will be granted a chance to go through a two-month-long internship at the State Agencies and Tbilisi-based think tanks. The project also focuses on strengthening the content of community radios based in ethnic minority populated regions.
