Course on Cybercrime Investigation - Technical, Legal and Procedural Aspects Based on Georgian and International Experience

From January 22 to February 5, in the scope of the specialized program on cyber security and cybercrime investigations, a new course - "Cybercrime Investigation - Technical, Legal and Procedural Aspects Based on Georgian and International Experience" was held.

During the course, the instructor discussed the specifics of cybercrime investigation, mainly in the framework of investigative practice in Georgia, and partly in the USA and EU countries. Program participants were given the opportunity to test the basic functions of the digital proof tools in accordance with specific instructions.

The module was conducted by Giorgi Pirveli, Senior Instructor, Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Visiting Lecturer at the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA), US Federal Bureau of Investigation.
