Lecture of the Ambassador of Turkey

On July 27, 2016 a public lecture on Turkish political and security situation was held at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies. The lecture was delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey H.E Zeki Levent Gumrukcu.

The event was opened by Ekaterine Metreveli, President (GFSIS). The Senior-Fellows of the Foundation Giorgi Targamadze and Nodar Kharshiladze addressed the audience as well.

The Ambassador discussed the recent events that happened in the Republic of Turkey. As H.E Zeki Levent Gumrukcu noted Turkey's political and security situation will not have an effect on Turkish-Georgian relations.

The lecture was attended by alumni and students of different training programs implemented by the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, as well as experts, public officials and the representatives of the non-governmental organizations.
