The Visit of the Director of George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies.

On April 15, 2004 the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies organized a meeting with Dr. John Rose, Director of the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Dr. Rose discussed with the Foundation fellows the international educational programs that Marshall Center regularly offers to military and civilian officials from 51 countries. During the Q&A session, the guest answered questions on the specific issues covered in “the Leaders of the 21st Century and Executive Program” courses and introduced to the audience the Marshall Center’s newest program on terrorism and security studies.

In the framework of his visit to Georgia, Dr. Rose plans to meet high-level officials at the Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs and National Security Council, where he will discuss the ways in which the Marshall Center can contribute to the development of Georgia’s national security and foreign policy strategies and their subsequent implementation.
